Nicola Formichetti often style Lady Gaga and I'm loving the controversial styling in this latest edition of Vogue Hommes Japan shot by god Nick Knight.

BATTLE OF THE BROGUES.

So it would appear I seem to have an unhealthy addiction to brogues. When I get a new pair I always think THIS. IS. THE. PERFECT. BROGUE. Then a couple of months (or days) down the line I see another gorgeous pair I neeeeed! I've pretty much banned myself from buying anymore & dwindled my small collection down to strictly favourites, but I thought I'd share some recent beauties I've seen & mine.

MINE:

                These are Paul Smith Men Only Starr's I have in brown leather (left) and the little leather silver toes are by Solea.

Very similar pair to these from Mango.

WANT:

Grenson Brogues. SO lush... and also £350!

I would love a pair of white summer brogues like these Nicole Farhi's (right). And the studded bad boy's on the left are Christian Laboutin. We can dream.

LOOK WHAT A FAIRY LEFT UNDER MY PILLOW.

Like a flashing blaze across sunny hills,
the bond of wild flowers is strong,
despite there leaves untouched by anothers,
underneath is where the connection comes from.

or bend in stance,
moving unified gracefully together,
when the wind comes to dance.
Unlike some,
when the showers come,
they stand proud and tall,
absorbing each droplet,
the sun shines brighter after the rain afterall...

This girl truly takes some breath-taking photographs. The selection I've chose follow quite a fierce theme but generally all her photo's do either have a very empowering free feeling to them or attitude and swagger. Both good.

Still trying to achieve the perfect not-so-perfect-I-haven't-tried-at-all bun! It's harder than you think! Mine looks far too neat...

Absolutely love the fact that Banksy did a mural at Glastonbury this year. What a fucking legend.

Just saw a sneak peek at the Acne Resort Lookbook for S/S11. Wowza... I'm in love with the cherry & sky blue tones. Strong, powerful & femenine <3

SPEAKING STILLS.

Some amazing photography by Aram Dikiciyan. Particularly liking the second one down & the emotion displayed on the models face. All very striking. Me likes.

Kimberly Ovitz who's a Art history graduate showcased her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection during New York fashion week last year. I adore this sheep wool necklace!
